Q: Do bats have rabies?

A. Yes, bats can have rabies.

Q: Are you affiliated with Animal Control?

A: No. Trappro is a licensed, privately owned company. We are not affiliated with Animal Control.

Q: Are you Licensed, Bonded, and Insured?

A: Trappro is licensed by the Dept. Of Natural Resources, and Yes, we are Bonded & Insured to the necessary extent.

Q: What types of Appointment windows does Trappro offer?

A: Trappro offers appointment windows Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 am and 5 pm.

Our typical arrival windows range from 8-11 am, 10-1 pm, 12-3pm and 1-4 pm. Customers should prepare to be available for the entirety of their window to avoid missed appointments.

Q: What is the service fee?

A: Our Consultation fee of $75.00 is refundable upon the completion of trapping & removal or permanent repairs. Trappro’s fees are specialized to each situation because every wildlife intrusion is different and requires an innovative approach.

Q: Do you trap cats?

A: Trappro traps & removes FERAL CATS ONLY. Unfortunately, Trappro does not trap for feral cats in residential areas – commercial properties only are invited to make use of our feral cat trapping services. TRAPPRO DOES NOT TRAP DOGS.

Q: What types of wildlife do you work with?

A: Trappro has experience with trapping & removal of squirrels, raccoons, groundhogs, skunks, snakes, mice, rats, snakes, opossums, foxes, feral cats on commercial properties, and beavers. Trappro can exclude animals such as bats, flying squirrels, mice, and rats.

Q: Can Trappro Repair the damaged areas?

A: Yes, Trappro specializes in permanent, warranted repairs such as : Installation of new dripedge, gable vents, chimney caps, soffit & fascia boards, as well as sealing of open areas such as utility lines, siding corners, and other various openings throughout the home. Trappro warranties permanent repairs for up to 10 years.

Q: How often do you check live cage traps?

A: Trappro monitors traps for squirrels, raccoons, foxes, groundhogs, beavers and opossum’s once per business day (Monday through Friday ONLY). Saturday and Sunday live caged traps are tied open (so the door is not able to shut and trap an animal inside) and the trap will be pre-baited (food will be placed inside the tied-open trap). Pre-baiting encourages the wildlife to enter the open trap and become more attracted to the trap itself. If the animal is comfortable entering the trap, it will be much easier to catch and remove it from the property.

Q: Do I need to be home every day to receive service?

A: Trappro requires the home owner’s presence on the initial consultation. If traps are placed in the home (typically for mice, rats & snakes) Trappro will need access to monitor/maintain these traps if you so choose. Trapping for animals such as squirrels, raccoons, foxes, groundhogs, opossums, skunks, and beavers are typically done from the exterior only and Trappro will not need daily access to remove animals & monitor activity.

Q: What type of warranty does Trappro offer?

A: Trapping & Removal of wildlife from inside the structure includes a temporary patch warranted for 30 days. Permanent repairs completed by Trappro are warranted for up to (10) years.
